Music City Tactical Shooters is a traditional IDPA shooting club with members from Nashville and all over the
middle Tennessee area. The club was founded in 2001 and has had many home ranges in the past. We have been in
Dickson, TN since late 2008.
We shoot on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month. We have implemented a new match format on the 4th Sunday
of each month: a Steel Only Match (Man vs Man or Outlaw Rules). We also sponsor either a 3-Gun, GSSF, Run & Gun, rifle
or shotgun only matches. Side matches are conducted after the normal match shoot. All side match free for Members only.
Members are allowed to shoot at their leisure after any match with time permitting and safety officers are available
to supervise.
ALL shooters are always welcome as long as they are safe and follow range rules! We have provided information on the site to help
you get started. Thanks for visiting our site and check back often for details.
Posted Range Rules shall be followed by all guests and members.
1. Members parking is on the top of the range. Non-member is across the bridge and in the field below the range.
2. If you park in the member parking lot and are a non-member, you will be asked to move. Failure to do so will result in immediate removal from the range.
3. We have a ZERO tolerance policy in effect. We are a COLD range! Absolutely NO loaded weapons shall be on your person at the range. If you show up to the range with a loaded weapon, find a safety officer immediately to unload weapon.
4. No handling of firearms will be allowed for ANY reason unless directed by the safety officer at the firing line or in the marked safe area.
5. No ammo handling is allowed in the marked safe area.
6. We are a 180 degree club(if your muzzle goes beyond the 180 degrees, you are handling your weapon in an unsafe manner). This will result in a disqualification.
7. Dropping a loaded or unloaded firearm, you are handling your weapon in an unsafe manner and will result in a disqualification.
8. Chamber flags required for all rifles and shotguns (available at range).
**Note: Any violations of the above policies will result in a disqualification from any and all shooting activities immediately including side matches.
Repeated violations will result in removal from the range permanently!
